Mission
Our mission is to provide child-centered space that is focused on fostering children’s creativity in a developmentally appropriate and resource rich play-based environment. We have created a play based learning environment that allows children to learn through discovery and experimentation.
Vision
Our vision for Busy Bodies is that the children that become a part of our play family benefit from their social emotional experiences, understanding their physical capabilities and through exploration and experimentation while engaging in play, are able to observe and process new information.
Philosophy
Play based learning is essentially learning through play. Instead of structured lessons or classroom-style teaching, it encourages children ages 0 to 6 to learn important social, literacy and numeracy skills through playful experiences.
Who are we?
Hello all! Greetings from Roy & Denise.
Collectively we possess an extensive background in working with children and families. I have been in the childcare field for over 25 years, owning my own childcare facility, while Roy has worked for the NYC Dept of Education for 11 years, and has assisted in the childcare business since its conception. He is extremely talented in both carpentry and maintenance and does all of the building and remodeling for dreams that we have worked on as a team to fulfill. We have a daughter who loves to sing and dance.

- About Busy Bodies
Busy Bodies Play Cafe, LLC is an interactive and creative open play space for children 1 to 6 years of age. Children are allowed to freely roam about the space and participate in activities that are appealing to them. There are several hands on activities for children who prefer not to climb and slide. Infants are welcome!
- An Age Appropriate Space
Children from 1 to 6 will enjoy an area of developmental and environmentally friendly play sets along with other developmentally appropriate stations for little hands to engage in.
- Children's Safety
During this time of COVID we are taking extra precautions to keep our facility safe and germ free as much as possible. We ask you to only visit the cafe when your children are well.
- Weekend Parties
At Busy Bodies Play Cafe we help parents create the parties of their dreams for their little ones with little to no hassle. Book your party online with us and we will handle the rest. All parties are private events for you and your guests.
